Inspired by the Adamson house in Malibu, California; This bathroom in a historic Spanish Colonial home was designed to show off the beautiful tile of that era.
No detail was too small; every surface is covered in tile. The design process started with a handmade malibu tile pattern that both the clients and the designer loved. Then some commercial solid tile colors were incorporated into the design on the walls and floors to help keep the budget in line. This project required very close supervision on the tile installation and a very talented tile installer! Event the Mirror frames, robe hooks, and light fixtures are ceramic. This bathroom is one of the highlights of this home and loved by all.
